My first wedding of the season is for Ben & Tai this weekend. Silly me, I haven’t posted the engagement photos yet. So, here are photos from Ben & Tai’s shoot. We used two locations in DC: an alley behind Ozio’s and the Smithsonian gardens.

I spent the other day walking the mean streets of Georgetown with Fatima and David. The day was HOT. Seriously. It was at least 100 degrees outside. But nevertheless, we trekked on and were able to pull out some great photos. Did I also mention that I was (randomly) coming down with the flu that day? Anyway, here are a few from the shoot. Fatima and David are ridiculously fun to be around and I can’t wait for the wedding in October.

It was my first trip to Chicago and true to form, the city was cold and windy…even in June. I spent the afternoon with Nikoa and Kevin as we wandered the streets of downtown Chicago from Grant Park to the Chicago River for their engagement session. Chicago is simply beautiful. There are great parks surrounded by architectural beauty. A very easy scene for a photo shoot. So, it’s no surprise that the photos came out great and that we had an amazing time. Below are some of the pics.
There’s this little piece of New York that God made just for me and it’s called Dumbo. It’s a section in Brooklyn with an amazing view of the water and the Manhattan bridge. It’s also full of some of my favorite things: cobblestones, lofts, and raw industrial space. So on a sunny (actually, it was pretty cold and windy) day in April, I trekked up to New York to take Zulema and Gene’s engagement photos. Here are a few from the day.

It hasn’t really felt like spring this year, which is crazy because we’re so close to summer. But, there were a few weeks when DC was up to it’s blissful spring ways. Luckily, that coincided with the Cherry Blossom Festival. So while this post is a wee bit late, here are some photos from the season.
