Made In Brooklyn

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

I know, I know. It’s been way too long since I’ve blogged and so much has gone on. I’ll do my best to add everything in the next few weeks. Today, I chose to add photos from Tia’s maternity shoot. I love these photos because they really mirror Tia and Dale’s personalities. I can’t wait to meet and photograph Cullen!

Zulema and Gene in Dumbo

Monday, June 8th, 2009

There’s this little piece of New York that God made just for me and it’s called Dumbo. It’s a section in Brooklyn with an amazing view of the water and the Manhattan bridge. It’s also full of some of my favorite things: cobblestones, lofts, and raw industrial space. So on a sunny (actually, it was pretty cold and windy) day in April, I trekked up to New York to take Zulema and Gene’s engagement photos. Here are a few from the day.

Me & Tea

Monday, February 16th, 2009

I abso love tea! I easily drink three cups a day. If I’m having a really productive day, I’ll have up to 6 cups. And I simply can’t edit photos without some.

I’ve recently discovered two new things that I love. The first is Tazo’s Om, although I can’t seem to find it anymore. And the second is black tea + fresh mint leaves.

I do all this rambling to say: I was thrilled when I took the shot below at Solomon’s Porch in Brooklyn, NY. Ironically, I don’t like decaf earl grey.
